Pope's Letter Linked to Texas Tragedy

VIDEO:Pope''s Letter Linked to Texas Tragedy

A tragedy occurred at a Christian camp in Texas where 38 children, counselors, and the owner died. I have been asked: Why is God speaking to us through the death of kids? Couldn’t He just say, “Hi?” How could a loving God have caused the death of so many? Today, the Lord will make it clear why these deaths occurred, and it is directly linked to a letter from the late Pope Francis and the Catholic Church.

When I first examined the flood, the Holy Spirit whispered that there was a connection between the Pope and the deaths from the flooding on July 4th, 2025. I apologize for not following up on this sooner, because this is of utmost importance.

The Pope

While searching for something else, a letter from Pope Francis came up in a Google search. Pope Francis sent his last letter to US bishops on February 10, 2025. It was on the illegal immigrant situation in the United States, which does not pertain to our conversation today. He closed the letter with this:

“Let us ask Our Lady of Guadalupe to protect individuals and families who live in fear or pain due to migration and/or deportation.”

The Pope encouraged Catholic leaders to pray to someone in Heaven other than Jesus. The Lady of Guadalupe refers to Mary, the mother of Jesus, who Catholics believe appeared to Saint Juan Diego in 1531 near Mexico City.

On the day this country celebrates its independence, nearly five months later, the Guadalupe River flooded, killing the children and counselors at the church camp, along with many others in Kerr County, Texas, for a total of 134 deaths. Every Sunday, the camp holds Catholic Mass along with other types of services as well.

How is this flood connected to the Pope’s letter? Guadalupe means wolf in Spanish. Do you remember the picture of the three-day rainfall totals? It resembles a dog, with two blue eyes, red in the center, and a small body with a tail.

Why would praying to Mary result in an attack from a demonic storm that bears the name given to Mary? This begs the question: Is there something wrong with praying or asking Mary for help?

Before I give you my scriptures, I want to ask every Catholic who hears this message: Can you give me one single scripture where someone on earth prays or asks someone in Heaven for anything? Please post your answer in the chat or comments: No, I cannot. Please cite the scripture so we can discuss it.

Jesus shared a story to demonstrate how ineffective individuals who have passed from this life to the next can be in the lives of the living.

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores… (Luke 16:19-20 AKJV)

Jesus uses the words “a certain man” and “a certain beggar” when recounting this event, which means it is a story. Words such as these are often used to introduce a certain individual who is unnamed or unidentified. That means that the story is literal, not metaphorical.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”
But Abraham said, “Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from there.” (Luke 16:22-26 AKJV)

Lazarus, a righteous man in Abraham’s bosom, was unable to help the rich man. This shows us that those who have died cannot even help others who have died who are unrighteous. Let’s keep reading.

Then he said, “I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house: For I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.”
Abraham said to him, “They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.” (Luke 16:27-29 AKJV)

This shows us that we are to receive wisdom and help from individuals on earth and the scriptures, not from people who are in Heaven. The Bible contains many examples of people asking for the living “Saints” to pray for them, but never asking for help from someone who has died. Except for Jesus, there aren’t any scriptures that I am aware of that show someone asking for help from a person who has died.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 AKJV)
But this Man, because He continues ever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Why He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come to God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:24-25 AKJV)

The Greek word mesitēs (me-see-tace) is translated as mediator, meaning a medium of communication. The Book of Hebrews clearly states that Jesus is the only one who can intercede between God and man because He gave His life for us on the cross. How insulting is it to the Man who gave His life and suffered for us to pray or ask someone else to help, when the whole point of His death was to intercede for us!

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7 AKJV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1 ESV)

Jesus is God. God knows and has numbered the hairs on our heads, which change constantly. Jesus is powerful enough to speak to all of us at the same time. We don’t need to worry about “bothering Him.” Who could help us better than He can?

Mary carried Jesus within her. She raised Him, but she didn’t even understand what Jesus was doing when He began His ministry. Only Jesus can serve as a go-between for man and God.

Can we pray or ask for help from those who have gone to Heaven?

That which we have seen and heard declare we to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3 AKJV)

According to the book of John, we can have fellowship with one another and true fellowship with Father and the Son. The Greek word koinōnia (coin-oh-nee'-ah) is translated as fellowship and means fellowship, association, communion. This is who we can communicate with, not people in Heaven. The first of the Ten Commandments warns us not to focus on anything in Heaven, but God:

I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make to you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God.. (Exodus 20:2-5 AKJV)

The Hebrew word šāḥâ (shaw-khaw') is translated “to bow down” and more fully means to do any of the following: in homage to royalty or God:—bow down, humbly beseech, make obeisance (venerate), do reverence, worship. Catholicism encourages people to make offerings to saints, including Mary, which often involves something on this earth that represents the “saint,” such as a necklace, a statue, or merely asking or praying to them. This is bowing down to them, honoring them, making obeisance, venerating, and reverencing them. Often, people will physically bow before them! Honoring saints who are in Heaven is bowing down to something other than God. How did the disciples respond when someone tried to venerate them?

And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, “Stand up; I myself also am a man.” (Acts 10:25-26 AKJV)

Saint Peter, on whom the Catholic church is based, did not allow anyone to bow down to him while he was alive. Do you really think that Peter would approve of people bowing down to give him offerings and venerating him after he died? What does God say about talking with those who have passed on from this life to the next?

There shall not be found among you anyone that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (Deuteronomy 18:10-11 AKJV)

Consulting with a necromancer is at the end of the list of actions that are forbidden because they are an abomination to God. But in Matthew 22, Jesus said that those who die in righteousness are “alive in God,” so does that mean we can still talk to them? We need to look at the word translated as necromancer to see if we can. It is actually three Hebrew words:

Dāraš (daw-rash'): to seek, to ask

'Ēl (ale or el): of

Mûṯ (mooth): to die, or have died

This means speaking to or asking those who have perished from this Earth. Anyone who is no longer living on Earth. The only exception is Jesus because He is God, according to John chapter 1.

The Lady Guadalupe is based on a vision, an appearance of Mary. Surely that is okay?

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God… (1 John 4:1-2 ESV)
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:13-14 AKJV)

Spirits can appear in many forms. Satan will pretend to be Jesus, who is the Light. If the spirits were not tested as John tells us to, then that spirit may be of the enemy, attempting to fool mankind. It has worked within one church in particular.

God is speaking loud and clear to get the attention of His people. There have been many messages throughout the years, saying much the same as said here today, but His children have refused to listen; that is why He allowed the enemy to attack with a storm.

The total rainfall resembled a dog, and Guadalupe means wolf in Spanish. What did Jesus say about wolves?

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15 ESV)

God is saying the Catholic Popes are wolves in sheep’s clothing, leading His people astray! Pope Francis died the day after Easter after sending this letter to the American Bishops, and yet, the Body of Christ did not listen. (See the message Pope Francis Dies on Easter Monday)

Guadalupe and the Eclipse of 2023

The eclipse of 2023 represents the Body of Christ. To find out why, please see the messages on these eclipses. The path of the Guadalupe River and its watershed shows the danger of praying to saints. The path of the river diverges from the path of the 2023 Eclipse, which represents the Body of Christ. God is saying the leaders of the Catholic Church who lead people in praying to and asking saints for help may no longer be part of the Body. The people connected to the Catholic Church represent a watershed: some remain in the Body of Christ.

In the Bible’s final prophecy regarding the return of the Lord, there are examples of people in certain churches not receiving the same punishment as the majority:

You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. (Revelation 3:4 AKJV)
But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put on you no other burden. (Revelation 2:24 AKJV)

There is a precedent for followers of a church being right before God if they don’t participate in the sins of the church. Those who do not pray to, make offerings to, or ask saints for help may not experience the same consequences. This is why an act of God, a historic flood, is linked to Lady Guadalupe, to give God’s children a chance to repent and turn away from sin. God is trying to get their attention.

The body count will rise in the coming years as God, in His mercy, tries to get the attention of His children. Don’t wait-begin learning about God and His ways today, so you can hear from Him and avoid future tragedies!
