Video: Hurricane Melissa, What is God Saying?
God has delivered correction to His people through Hurricane Melissa’s destruction in Haiti, Jamaica, and Cuba. God let correction come through the disaster in Jamaica because it is directly linked to presumption and expectation. Here is what God says about these attitudes:
But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ (Deuteronomy 18:20 ESV)
In those days, God only sent His Spirit in great measure to prophets who declared and decreed what was to come because they were the mouthpiece of God. Today, all God’s children receive and are guided by the Holy Spirit. This principle should be applied to anyone who uses the name of the Lord in an attempt to wield the power of God, especially concerning what comes in the future.
The word translated as “presumes” is the Hebrew word zûḏ, which means to act proudly, presumptuously, rebelliously, or arrogantly. If we use the name of the Lord to declare or decree what is to come, like miracles, wealth, provision, without hearing from the Holy Spirit, or anyone that something is from God when it isn’t, it is presumptuousness, which is a form of pride. This is different than “hoping” in God.
The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish. (Proverbs 10:28 ESV)
The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are taken captive by their lust. When the wicked dies, his hope will perish, and the expectation of wealth perishes too. The righteous is delivered from trouble, and the wicked walks into it instead. (Proverbs 11:6-8 ESV)
In both of these proverbs, expectation is connected to the wicked, which is defined as: not guided by or showing concern for what is right. When we “expect” beneficial treatment, we are not being guided by what is right. God is our provider; it is in Him and His Son that we hope and rely. This is quite different from presumption, which is linked to pride.
When people came to be healed by Jesus, most said the same thing:
Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” (Matthew 8:3 ESV)
No one came to Jesus and declared that He healed them. No one came and demanded healing. Those who were healed worship Jesus by saying, “I know you can heal me.” Then they asked Him to heal them, “If you will.” This is the attitude of hope.
Many Christians place expectations on Jesus after salvation: they are told to expect to be blessed with wealth or have all their problems solved. God sent His Son into the world to pay for sins that we could not pay for: He sent Jesus so that we could be saved. This is the grace that comes through Jesus: salvation, to go to Heaven when we die.
Because of the way mankind has misappropriated grace and what God has freely given to us, He has spoken through another event that has taken human lives. These events will continue and increase in severity until the third Temple is built and the Two Witnesses begin to prophesy the plagues before they begin because His churches refuse to turn back to His ways.
Thus Saith the Lord:
Death and destruction came upon Haiti, Jamaica, and Cuba because the fourth seal has been broken and the horseman of death is riding across the Earth. When I speak correction to My churches, death and destruction will come. What have my churches done to deserve destruction?
Death will come because of the lawlessness of the wicked who expect grace while refusing to turn from sin. They even fail to turn from the sins, which are an abomination in My eyes. I sent My Son to bring grace so that salvation could come, yet they use this grace to indulge and even encourage others to sin.
My churches charge for that which I have given them for free, becoming rich while urging My children to have presumptuous faith about provision, miracles, demanding and decreeing instead of turning from sin, seeking My face, and trusting in Me. They are following the world and the spirit of mammon, which brings the sin of presumption and expectation.
These sins have come through the manipulation of My words and have brought the spirit of Jezebel into My church. As it was with the second Temple, so it is in these churches. My presence has been removed because the leaders have not humbled themselves, nor have they feared Me, nor walked in My ways. Therefore, I will set my face against them and those who defile themselves with the sins they encourage.
Why was Jamaica the Center?
Jamaica was filled with expectation and presumption as its Prime Minister Holness petitioned the UN in September.
Expectation
Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly in September, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Holness, urged wealthy countries to increase climate financing to assist countries like Jamaica with adapting to the effects of a warming world.
“Climate change is not a distant threat or an academic consideration. It is a daily reality for small island developing states like Jamaica,” he said.
Jamaica is responsible for just 0.02 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, which cause global warming, according to data from the World Resources Institute.
It is easy to see expectation: Jamaica is unwilling to turn to God for protection; instead, they expect other, unaffected nations to give them money. Do I think wealthy nations should help when countries have natural disasters? If they are able to, then yes. Do I think they should be required to help by the UN as Jamaica was requesting, absolutely not.
Presumption
How was Jamaica’s request presumptuous? Their request was based on the fact that Jamaica only contributes .02 percent to the world's pollution. Let’s look at some pollution facts.

In the top 20 countries with the cleanest air, there is Canada, Australia, America, and two European countries, Portugal and Spain. Jamaica isn’t listed in the top 20 countries.

Among the top 20 countries with the most polluted air there is India, China, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and many third-world countries. Let’s look at the big picture.
Jamaica is ranked the same as the UK, Europe, Russia, and much of South America. Which of the orange, highly polluting “wealthier” nations should pay for their recuperation?

Jamaica leaned further into presumptuousness by only taking into account air pollution.

Plastics in the ocean are heated up by the sun, which in turn heats up the water. One such “plastic island” is the area that is referred to as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, which is more like a vast, diffuse "plastic soup" covering an estimated 1.6 million square kilometers (0.62 million square miles). It is larger than France, Texas, or Japan and is the largest of five major garbage patches in the world's oceans.

Which countries are responsible for this form of pollution? The top three are the Philippines, China, and Malaysia. America is the first “wealthy” country mentioned, and it contributes as much as Jamaica.
To ask for mandated support based on partial, inaccurate facts is both a presumption and an expectation. This is why God chose a hurricane event in Jamaica to speak to His people. One month after petitioning for this, Jamaica was hit with the biggest hurricane in history. The facts surrounding this event showed clearly what God was saying.

Melissa was an unprecedented category 5+ when it landed in Black River with winds at 185 mph, well above the 152 mph winds required for a category five. Here are the metaphorical meanings:
5+: five is grace - this is well outside the bounds of grace
Melissa: Nursemaid to Zeus and honeybee – making an idol out of good things
Jamaica: Known for “no problem” laid-back attitude and marijuana.
God’s presence in the Temple was manifested as smoke.
Marijuana: mind-altering smoke - following a presence that isn’t God.
Black River: Black is sin. A river is a barrier to overcome.
Every part of this event speaks to presumptuous grace and a refusal to turn from sin. Churches who do not encourage people to turn from sin, who embrace what God calls sin, some even allow smoking marijuana. This is what we call hyper grace. These churches will no longer experience God’s presence. The other islands that were affected will add to this meaning:
Category 3 landfall: perfection and completion in the spirit.
Cuba: “Where fertile land is abundant”- prosperity doctrine, and Cuban Cigars.
Cuban Cigars: unclean, poisonous smoke for the very wealthy.
Churches that have charged for what belongs to God have become “rich.” They have lost God’s presence because they have chosen the poison of the presence of mammon over trusting God. They teach their followers to seek riches from God by presumptuous demands without teaching them to turn from sin so they can go from glory to glory. These churches will no longer have God’s presence as He has set His face against them.
Haiti: High Mountain - sacrificing to idols. It is estimated 50% of people practice witchcraft.
Roving gangs terrorizing Port au Prince: Churches such as these claim Jesus as their Prince, but the enemy will terrorize them.
The eye never hit Haiti, but winds and rains isolated towns. Churches that have given the spirit of witchcraft (which is Jezebel) a place through the actions mentioned will not have God’s protection; they will be open to attacks of the enemy.
More signs will come with increasing destruction because the 4th seal has been broken:
4th Seal Broken: All new jars of jam, pickles, and such open without any resistance
